The Service Catalogue outlines the services provided by the Cyber Security Centre of Excellence that are available to the broader public sector. The broader public sector includes organizations that receive funding from the Government of Ontario to provide public services. Examples of broader public sector organizations include hospitals, universities, colleges, municipalities and school boards.

Knowledge Sharing and Education
Service Overview
The Centre of Excellence develops cyber security education and awareness materials. This content is made available to broader public sector organizations upon request.
What is included in this service?
Knowledge sharing and education includes:
- Cyber security education and awareness materials such as videos, tip sheets and articles.
- Annual Cyber Security Awareness Month campaign supports include planning advice, sharing of campaign materials, and assistance with feedback collection and campaign analytics.
- Advice to client ministries and their broader public sector partners on cyber security best practices and relevant industry standards as utilized in the Ontario Public Service.
- Cyber security learning modules for staff and leaders in broader public sector organizations.
- Cyber security events including conferences and workshops developed in partnership with academia.
What options are available?
Content is available upon request: cyber security education materials that provide reliable and consistent information from a centralized source to enable user awareness, operational effectiveness and informed decision-making.
What service levels are provided?
Service levels vary depending on the type of inquiry and resource availability. You can expect an initial response within 24 hours under normal operating conditions; however, depending on the volume of inquiries and urgency of requests, the time to complete a request might vary.

The Centre of Excellence guides the development and implementation of solutions that help ministries and their broader public sector partners deliver secure, easy-to-consume digital services to Ontario’s citizens and businesses. The Centre of Excellence helps ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
What is included in this service?
Security Policy and Standards includes:

Questions, clarifications, alignment and applicability of Cyber Security Standards found on Ontario.ca.
- Questions pertaining to specific cyber security policies.
- Subject matter expertise on various disciplines within cyber security topics including Digital Identity, Identity & Access Management, Cyber Risk Management, Cryptography, Cloud First and Cloud Security, and Enterprise Vulnerability Management.
What options are available?
Options are based on the type and scope of the project. Assistance with security policies and standards inquiries are scheduled upon request and availability.
We provide accurate information on existing and developing policies and standards, expertise and guidance.
For inquiries about industry best practices, emerging technologies, jurisdictional scans and cyber or information security trends, the Centre of Excellence is committed to providing this information and can be delivered in the form of presentations or briefing notes.
What service levels are provided?
Service levels vary depending on the type of inquiry, resource availability and research effort required for a particular topic. For cyber policy and standards inquiries, you can expect a response within two business days.

Service Overview
The vendor of record (VOR) for Information Technology (IT) Security Products and Services #17543 is available to broader public sector organizations through the Doing business with the Government of Ontario webpage.
The VOR consists of 34 categories with competitive pricing and a selection of vendors in each category.
What is included in this service?

Broader public sector organizations can access services at the same competitive pricing available to the Ontario Government.
What options are available?
Advice on the use of the VOR, consultations on categories of interest, and an overview of the VOR is available in coordination with procurement advice from Supply Chain Ontario. Inquiries will be scheduled upon request subject to urgency and resource availability.
A letter of agreement is not required for this service.
Support includes consultations, presentations and facilitation of user feedback to inform future VOR categories, products and services.
